Nene Valley Railway
 All
the sights and sounds of the golden age of steam come alive
at the Nene Valley Railway, travelling between Yarwell,
Wansford and Peterborough the 7˝ miles of track passes through
the heart of the 500 acre Ferry Meadows Country Park.
NVR is also the home of “Thomas” the children’s favourite
engine. Shop, Café, Book Shop and Museum are open on service
days and the Loco Yard and Station are open all year for
viewing. Services operate on Sundays from January; weekends
from Easter to end October; Wednesdays from May, plus other
mid-week services in summer. Disabled visitors very welcome.
