Sands makes a superb centre for your family holiday
in a countryside setting and close to miles of sandy
beaches stretching from Flamborough Head to Spurn
Point. Local access to the beach is by steps.
The park offers a range of facilities and activities
to suit all ages and tastes, including an indoor
swimming pool, playground and amusements. The bars
and leisure centre (with 10-pin bowling and children's
club) are the perfect place to relax after a fun
packed day.
The surrounding area offers a host of scenic and
historic attractions. Just north along the coast
are Flamborough Head's fantastic cliffs and Scarborough's
castle, with Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors
beyond. Bridlington, with its picturesque harbour,
is just 10 miles away and Hornsea is only 6 miles
down the coast. Heading inland, the old market towns
of Beverley, with its Minster, and Driffield, the
gateway to the Wolds, are worth a visit whilst Hull
and historic York make ideal day trips.

from the beach. The superb leisure centre boasts
an indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna, while the Tow
Bar Inn offers several bars, entertainment, a restaurant
and children's room. A well stocked fishing lake
is on site, golf and bowling are nearby.
